Career Coach Kaviya ("Kaviya," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information this website collects (mainly through the contact and inquiry forms) and how that information is used. This site does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Information we collect

When you fill out a form on this website (on the Contact page or the For Schools & Educators page), we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Whether you're a student, parent, or teacher
• School name, location, class/grade, and board type (where applicable)
• Any message or details you choose to share about why you're reaching out

We do not collect payment information, passwords, or government ID numbers through this website. If you book a call using the Calendly widget embedded on this site, Calendly collects your name, email, and any details you provide directly; that information is governed by Calendly's own privacy policy, not this one.

How we use this information

Form submissions are sent to a private Google Sheet that only Kaviya can access, and are used only to:

• Respond to your inquiry about 1:1 coaching or school workshops
• Follow up to schedule a call, session, or workshop
• Keep a record of inquiries so nothing gets missed

We do not use the information you submit for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers needed to operate this site (see below).

Where your information is stored

Form submissions are processed by a Google Apps Script and stored in a Google Sheet linked to Kaviya's Google account. This site is hosted on Netlify. Both Google and Netlify may process standard technical data (like IP address or browser type) as part of providing their services: see Google's privacy policy and Netlify's privacy policy for details.

Data retention

We keep form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain a reasonable record of past conversations. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, contact us using the details below and we'll remove it.

Children's privacy

This site is used by high school students, typically with a parent's awareness or involvement, given the nature of career guidance services. We only collect the information a student or parent chooses to submit through the form, and use it solely to respond to that inquiry.

Your choices

You can choose not to submit the contact form and instead reach out by email or phone (see below). You can also ask us at any time what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
